Water Operator Position available

The West Branch Regional Authority is receiving applications for a Water Operator position for a municipal water system serving Muncy Borough in Lycoming County, PA. The position includes full time, first shift work with full benefits. Compensation based on experience.

Primary duties include the operation and maintenance of treatment and pumping systems, trending and analysis of performance data, preparation of reports and budgets, and general water system maintenance.

Candidates must possess the following qualifications: Class B Water License, 4 years’ experience in operating a water system, Valid PA driver’s license and transportation, Capable of lifting tools and materials up to 85 pounds in weight, Proficiency with Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Experience with SCADA control systems and PLC programming, Experience with Variable Speed/Frequency Drives

The work environment includes frequent bending, lifting, kneeling, crouching and working in confined spaces and around hazardous chemicals. Candidates must be able to wear a respirator. WBRA offers performance-based advancement and an excellent benefit package.
